APK Pure Third Party App Store Install Guide

Google Play doesn’t cover every app worth having on a Fire TV or Android device — APKPure is one of the most established third-party app stores that fills that gap, hosting apps and games you won’t find in the official store.

What Is APKPure?

APKPure is a long-running third-party Android app store and APK repository, offering a huge catalog of apps and games alongside its own installer app that handles updates automatically once installed.

Why Use APKPure on Fire TV or Android

APKPure is especially useful for Fire TV users, since Amazon’s Appstore carries far fewer apps than Google Play. Installing the APKPure app gives you a searchable store with auto-updates, instead of manually sideloading individual APK files one at a time.

How to Install APKPure

Download the APKPure installer directly from the developer’s official website, then sideload it with Downloader on Fire TV, or install the APK directly on other Android devices.

Is APKPure Safe to Use?

APKPure is one of the more established third-party app stores and scans apps before listing them, but as with any third-party store, only download the installer from the official website linked above rather than an unofficial mirror.

Using APKPure From Outside Your Region

APKPure itself is globally available, but some of the apps and games listed on it are region-locked by their own developers, and Fire TV/Android sideloading in general can trip up on geo-restrictions depending on what you’re trying to install. If you’re running into that, connecting through a VPN server in the right country before opening the app store usually clears it up. We use IPVanish for this – see the current IPVanish discount.
