Free TV Shows 2022 Now Available On YouTube
It seems like YouTube is taking another big step into the streaming market. YouTube has announced it will offer thousands of TV shows and Movies completely free. This should be no surprise. YouTube as one of the biggest content providers has a unique opportunity to be a major player in the streaming market. YouTube TV, which originally launched in 2017, was the companies first attempt to enter the paid market.
For some time now, YouTube has offered the ability to rent and buy new tv shows and movies. However, now under that category you will see “Free with ads” this should not be a surprise. Yes, of course YouTube will want to make some sort of profit for offering this content. These ads will most likely be more regular than what normally comes with their content.

Is This A Bad Thing?
My initial thoughts is YouTube is building up to make a big play on the streaming market. It should be no surprise that a company as profitable as YouTube wants to take up some room in this space. However, much like Tubi tv, having ads in order to watch content for free seems like a fair trade. To me this seems like a very fair trade.
