The Fame Game
This series follows the main character, a famous Indian actress named Anamika. She wins your heart with her devotion to casting on the big screen just to take care of her family. She’s given everything to her family.
The heart wants what it wants, but it’s fickle and fleeting. Anamika, played brilliantly by actress Madhuri Dixit, soon is faced with the scariest dilemma of all when all around her the family she loves and tries to provide for has betrayed her. IMDb on their website mentions that this series is, in fact, the “ most popular Indian TV series of 2022.” Not surprising it made it to a top pick this April.
It’s a raw depiction of fame and glamour, with the darkest side to the story unfolding right underneath her nose. Expertly designed to bring you tumbling into this story thirsty for a plot full of twists and eager to get to the last secret. Definitely worth a binge watch of it.

The Rain
Ominous and utterly terrifying is the best way to describe how you are drawn into this series, one you can’t get enough of. Rushed into the most frightening stories of science and pitted against mother nature, the only way to save yourself is to be strong. Whatever you do, don’t be out in the rain. The only protection you have is to stay inside a bunker. The only rescue you have is your own bravery. Saving one’s family is the only thing commendable in a world fallen into utter chaos.
The title gives nothing away, you think it’s only the rain, but it’s so much more. The biggest mistake is trying to protect your own children from reality, as a parent, not telling the truth ends up putting a brother and sister into the worst danger of all. Unaware of the true dangers waiting just outside the door of the bunker. The bunker is the only safe haven now, that’s all they have left is each other, locked away, but for how long will that last.

The Weekend Away
What seems like the perfect friendship catchup Kate and Beth decide on a weekend get-away in Croatia. The promise of a good time is a spiral of fun and soon something unexpected with a past of haunts the main character was blindsided by or was she. There is a fine line between being in the wrong place and time vs. being involved criminally.
The main character, Beth, played by Leighton Meester finds herself in an empty rental house with fear etching into her, something has gone horribly wrong. The characters you love to trust, but should you? Should you believe anything? The spider’s web of deceit and lies and hidden human condition of lust, lifestyle, and secrets are all you need to be glued to the T.V. This is a top notch movie for any crime, mystery, and detective clue follower type. You are gonna love this.
I thought this was well done, so maybe Rotten Tomatoes was a bit harsh. Let us know in the comments if you watched this and what you thought as well.

Life After Death with Tyler Henry
Wow, this show is the kind that makes you walk away and give yourself a reality check. It’s a portrayal of real life, the stories, some of tragedy and trauma too, and the focus of this series is no doubt about heart and a passion for helping people find answers. That’s the beautiful and emotional portrayal of a gift that famed Tyler Henry brings to the forefront of this show. He makes you believe that there is in fact far more to the afterlife than we could imagine. For anyone that’s sceptical, Tyler will either change your mind, or watch it just to hear these stories as he reaches out to different people.
The stories of struggles, being unable to say goodbye, and the relief, gratitude, and love given in this show will at minimum make you believe in the good Tyler brings to the table. It’s a spotlight of joy and closure that many of us have painfully felt, and quest after, and it just may be that with Tyler’s gift can inspire others to change their lives, make amends, and at the very least live life to the fullest.
This show is edgy and fun too. As per Rotten Tomato Rating it’s off the charts. So you might want to give it a try.

The Invisible Man
This show is the impiety of fear and fighting against an invisible force that one no one can see and no one believes you. It’s updated from the famous novel by H.G. Wells, and it’s worth it. It builds straight up until the scene at the restaurant. If you don’t gasp I’ll be surprised. It’s like at that point there is no denying reality.
It’s a twisted manipulation of the mind that you will love every second of it. Horror fans, this one is a goodie. I loved the utter nail-biting stamina of this show. It doesn’t slow down, and you can’t help, but hold your breath as you go for a heck of ride watching this. Late at night, dark in the house, bestie count me in.

Super Pupz
Okay this made my list for the kiddos, even the bigger kiddos will agree it’s super cute! This is a witty and fun family show where some puppies seem to have their lives all worked out, if only the pesky humans would help them. But who can they trust?
These furry characters are just oh so loveable and not animated, which is just spectacular cuteness on screen. This story follows these brave pups, their kid owners, on a bread crumb trail of plot twists and villains to sniff out where the truth lies.
Get some pillows and blankets for a movie night in the living room cause the kids will enjoy this too much, and don’t be surprised if they ask for a dog later.

Dark Waters
Based on a real-life story and played by none other than Mark Ruffalo, who brings this case right to your doorstep. This is a well fought battle of wits and nothing but perseverance that brings this touching story to light. What if something so dark and sinister was known, but unknown to the public. This is a heartfelt story of how our world can be changed on countless levels as we root for this Attorney named Rob Billot, who courageously doesn’t take no for an answer and risks it all to do so.
